Josè Maria Jimenez

Josè Maria Jimenez - Ricordo del Giro d'Italia 1999 / Memory of Giro d'Italia 1999

He tried to resist behind Marco's wheel. He tried to fly together with that wonderful bird named Pantani. But such will just burned his legs on the long way to the top of the Fauniera. El Chaba was such rider never negotiating legs and heart. No dialogue, just feeling and pushing hard when was feeling it was the right moment to do so. Despite the legs, despite any consequence. That day he trasited in front of my camera almost stuck. The car behind was burning the clutch so slow was the speed. But El Chaba was not a common rider, was an artist; an artist of the dream and the beauty. Searching the flight of the life. Such flight he just didn't foud that afternoon on the Fauniera.
