 After seven hours of race, after a long day spent on the road waiting the race, everything fires and consumes in less than 30 seconds. You can hate this race, you can love but you can't change it. It's crazy to read every year opionion about how this Classic should or could be. Her perfection consists in the waiting. Waiting for the next edition, waiting for the passage, waiting for the rain, or the sun, waiting on the Poggio, waiting for the action. It's not important when the action will ever come, it's crucial the exciting of the expectation. When everything, then explodes it will be over too fast. Usually in the same place, in the same way, on the Poggio. Anybody in Milano, the morning of the race, knows where the moment will come. Almost seven hours later. Everybody know that it will be challenging wait those stressful hours but there's not an alternative solution. Then waiting.
