It’s hard to convince when you loose. Even if you just miss that bit of performance, you can’t convince. Peter’s troubles had their begin on this road, in March, when he loose the race that most fits for him. He joined Siena Il Campo too late, too tired, out of the real battle. Since Richmond, few weeks ago, we are dreaming of him on the same road, against the early March chilly wind, at the top of his physical form. World’s top performance in September had to happen to give him the rainbow, but Peter’s destiny is the spring, the sharp light hitting his new colors, the white gravel roads made perfect for his driving ability. Peter’s destiny is to win this race.
