Siena is just behind her, but the way to the finish is still very long. We were in the gravel of San Martino in Grania, waiting women passage, before moving to men's race. The wind was very strong and chilly. The light was sharp and strong. Rossella was just dropped by the best, but still fighting for a good position. Angelo, friend and contributor of this page, is ready to fix her effort on his camera. It was just the beginning of a great cycling day.

Dico sempre che le colline delle Marche sono più belle, più aspre e più varie dei quelle del Chianti; il nostro paesaggio è ricchissimo anche di città medievali che si stagliano contro montagne innevate (guardati il i prossimo post su San Ginesio). Poi vedo la Torre del Mangia e mi tocca ammutolire. Gran bello scatto, Ale
Le crete sono meravigliose, Michele. Le nostre terre hanno poco da invidiare, ma devo dire che non riescono a toccare tanta eccellenza.
